Why We Started Makula

Makula was founded by digitisation expert Emkay Khan and engineering leader Dr.-Ing. Simon Spelzhausen after years of working with machinery manufacturers like Caterpillar, Michelin, and Volkswagen. Across every factory floor and service team, they saw the same issue, slow after-sales response, outdated maintenance workflows, and critical knowledge locked in people’s heads.
